Reconstruction of Lakes to boost cultivation.


Sri Lanka is an agricultural country since more than 2000 years. One of the best agricultural system built by Sri Lankans kings that ruled the country. Sri Lanka was able to supply tons of food items to neighboring countries till it become a colony of British. Since then, many of the lakes which stock the water was became useless due to no proper maintenance. Many of the farmers gave up their cultivation and looked for different jobs. When the cultivation goes down, British government introduce import of food items to Sri Lanka.

Helabima Organization started its operation with a reconstruction of a Lake. The aim is to let poor farmers to continue their cultivation and help Sri Lanka to produce more foods. Below we list the names of the lakes rebuilt by Helabima Organization.

Help for Educational System

Helabima believes that the education for the children plays a vital roll in order to make a man who loves the country and its unitary status. Also Helabima takes the leading roll to safeguard Sri Lanka's culture, Buddhism and the Sinhala Nation.

Help for soldiers who fought to protect us from Tamil Terrorism.

Mostly when there is a war, people treat the soldiers as national heroes. But when the war stops, they forget the soldiers. But Helabima remembers always our soldiers who have scarified their lives for the sovereignty of the country.
