| The Demahavaeva army camp is one of the important camp in Vavniyawa. The camp did not have proper water supply facility since many years and the soldiers who are staying in this camp had to bring their water requirement in a bucket by themselves. And usualy water is supplied by bowsers to the camp which is anadequate. Couple of times, the soldiers who goes to the nearest lake for bathing & washing purposes, had became the target of LTTE terrorists. Helabima Organization donated Rs.110,000/- to the camp to buy a water pump and necessary pipes to establish the water supply system. This donation will save many of our own soldiers lives in future from LTTE terrorists attacks. |
