The
LTTE, terrorist outfit that has a support base of less than five percent
of Sri Lanka's population, likes to define as 'sovereignty' and claims a
Tamil homeland.
Inhuman
ideology of terrorism would be the best option and natural description for
the LTTE to gain their aims. They presume that five percent support base
can be compared to a military balance of the other 95 percent which
supported and blessed by the peace loving people in the country.
The
only 'power' that the LTTE has based on child soldiers and suicide bombers
with cyanide capsule around the necks.
They
claim to have 'LTTE administered areas' and via the pro LTTE
organizations, they have able to define the unrealistic word of “Mayim
Gam” ( Border villages). Reality is the LTTE does not administer
anything.
The
schools, conducting examinations, paying pensions, running hospitals,
supplying free medicines, running the postal service, the supply of
electricity, the maintenance of roads, irrigation systems, building homes,
providing social services and social aid are run by the state.
One
of the very reason of above fact of providing all the facilities are based
on the minds of the people who has cultivated the compassionate nature of
Buddhism via many centuries.
They
are the Sinhalees people who elected all the governments after the British
and did not yet force any government to stop any food supplies, funds etc
to North.
It
is a proven fact that some countries with different cultural values stop
the funds as well as all other facilities in similar situations.
LTTE
was able to achieve those so-called
'LTTE administered areas', based on its ability to terrorize the
public.
Standard
LTTE operational procedures are carried out by high profile assassinations
of officers of the public institutions, government as well as whomever
inside the LTTE would be out of the leader’s command.
Though
the US or India banned the LTTE, in Britain they have a soft corner
possibly due to the Britain’s own corrupted politicians and inefficient
administrators or their internal limitations to overcome the prevailing
domestic terrorism.
By
knowing that there is no comparison to a powerful government or crooked
terrorist organization like LTTE, Helabima organization reinforced its
strength around some patriotic Sinhaleese around the world with the
support of a clear constitution mainly based on Buddhist cultural values.
It
has taken several steps peacefully to imbalance the terrorist support
network on its own way, rather than waiting for any government to ban the
LTTE or Britain to crack down LTTE operations as below.
1.
Identify the affected people in the country by the LTTE tamil
terrorism with the support of various patriotic organizations in Sri Lanka
and abroad.
2.
Awareness program for the Sinhaleese who has been mislead by the
British colonist attitude about the very fact that all the people of
country are same. Helabima emphasis that Sinhaleese are the indigenous
people of the country and any other nationality may live in peace without
degrading their own dignity.
3.
Link the affected villagers to the armed forces to avoid their
vulnerability as well as boost the moral of the affected Sinhaleese people
by educating the village leaders about various faces of the terrorism.
4.
Provided the monetary funds to enhance the civilian life where it
has been disturbed due to the LTTE Tamil terrorism.
5.
Uplifting the general living conditions of the soldiers and their
families.
These
actions would prove to be far cheaper and more effective in debilitating
an inhuman terrorist organization, than directly attempt to fight.
